hei-risk data is pleased to announce the official launch of its China Exposure Database 2023, hei-risk data’s first product.
hei-risk data has developed a 1km resolution building exposure database for China. Using the latest and best available satellite, census and building costs data along with innovative geospatial analysis, more than 100 high resolution 1km grids have been produced detailing the distribution of replacement costs of buildings throughout China.
These grids have been combined to create the China exposure database categorized by line of business and includes replacement costs for buildings, the value of the building’s contents as well as the estimated cost caused by business interruption.
The building characteristics include building structure type, building height and occupancy type, details are listed below:
